Description
An appliance that bundles up PHP, MySQL, Apache and MediaWiki to provide a self-contained, turn-key Wiki appliance.
After a simple web-based configuration step, you'll be up and running and able to create and manage content collaboratively using the same software that powers Wikipedia.
This community appliance is hosted on rBuilder Online, where you can join mailing lists and also become a developer on this project if you wish.

Download the appliance now from rBuilder Online at http://www.rpath.org/rbuilder/project/mediawiki
Notes:
The MediaWiki Appliance reports its IP address and configuration URL in the console on startup, so you do not need to login to figure out how to connect and configure this appliance. See the Project Home page for updated installation instructions.
To manage or update your appliance:
This appliance is built on the rPath Appliance Platform, which includes a web-based appliance management console. The admin console allows you to:
- retrieve an install updates for the appliance
- backup and restore your appliance data
- configure the appliance's network settings
- reboot your appliance
In order to access the admin console, enter:
https://<appliance-ip>:8003/
into your web browser. The default admin user is 'admin' with password 'password'.
